I firmly believe that when you outlaw guns you only take guns away from law abiding citizens, leaving the criminals with the upper hand. Strict gun laws lead to a higher rate of the more violent crimes, of the home invasion variety.
Think about how many lives could have been saved in school shootings and mall shootings if the bad guys weren't the only ones with guns.
Thank you for the reminder of how precious and extremely important our 2nd Amendment is!
I have to agree with Frigga. Just look at Washington D.C. They outlawed gun ownership by citizens but have the shootings stopped? Do you think the gang bangers and drug dealers said, "Oh darn we can't use our guns anymore. They're against the law." Ummmm, no.
Great post and great way to get people talking and thinking.

Living in a country were all guns are outlawed and even our cops are unarmed,I find these pics quite alarming! ( shuffles off hands in air!)
Thank you so much guys for dropping by and sharing your views. There are pros and cons really in both options.
I guess governments in each countries should take this seriously and us citizens to be more vigilant.
A nice WW day to all of you!
Good entry for WW. You can interpret it in many ways, depending on your beliefs.
